Since the completion of his studies in architecture in Vienna, Wolfgang Kurtz has constantly switched between different genres of the arts, like architecture, scenography, and site-specific installations. From 2005 to 2012 he was a lecturer at the Technical University in Dresden. Wolfgang has been engaged as stage designer in several theatre productions. He is also working in close collaboration with the choreographer and dancer Irene Schröder. Their works are especially focused on kinematics of the 3-dimensional space in interaction with the human body.
